The app doesn't see my hands

Make sure the room is reasonably lit and that your hand is inside the small camera preview. On first launch, allow camera access when macOS asks — you can re-enable it anytime in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera.

How do I pick a tool or color?

Move your hand over the bottom bar — the button under your finger lights up — then pinch to select the pen, the eraser, a color, or undo/redo. Keep your hand steady over the button as you pinch.

How do I clear the whole canvas?

Show the camera an open palm and hold it there. A short countdown appears so you can lower your hand to cancel before everything is erased.

Which Macs can run Handraw?

Any Mac with a working camera and a recent version of macOS. The hand tracking uses Apple's Vision framework, which runs directly on your Mac.

What happens to my camera feed?

It's used only to track your hands and drive the drawing, and it's processed on your device. For the full details, see our Privacy Policy.
