The whole vocabulary

Four gestures. That's the entire interface.

Handraw watches your hands through the camera and turns a handful of natural movements into a full drawing tool. Nothing to memorize — you'll have it in a minute.

01 · Right hand

Pinch to draw

Bring your thumb and index finger together to lay ink down. Open the pinch to lift the pen off the page.

02 · Over the bar

Pinch a tool

Hold your hand over the pen, the eraser, or any color and pinch to select it. Undo and redo live there too.

03 · Both hands

Two hands to move

Pinch with both hands and drag to pan the canvas, or spread them apart to zoom into the detail.

04 · Open palm

Open hand to clear

Show the camera an open palm and hold. A short countdown gives you a beat to change your mind before the canvas wipes.

Handraw uses the camera already on your Mac. Your hands appear in a small preview so you always know what it sees.

A guided walkthrough teaches pinch, select, move, and clear — one at a time — and only moves on once you've done each one.

Make something

Sketch, switch colors, zoom in, undo a stroke. When you're done, it's saved to your gallery to open again later.

Hand tracking runs locally through Apple's Vision framework. The camera feed drives the drawing and stays on your machine.

Pen, eraser & six colors

A full palette lives on the bottom bar. Switch tools and colors mid-drawing with a pinch — never a keyboard.

Undo & redo by pinch

Change your mind without breaking flow. Step back and forward through every stroke, all from the same bar.

Type and dictate

Drop a text box straight onto the canvas and speak — voice dictation writes it out so you can label anything hands-free.

Saved to your gallery

Every drawing is kept as its own project. Reopen, keep working, or start a fresh canvas whenever the idea strikes.
